Join St. Pete Teen Court, a diversion program that gives juveniles a second chance when facing their first encounter with the criminal justice system.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In Teen Court, sanctions are decided by a jury of the&nbsp;youth&#8217;s&nbsp;peers, and participants&nbsp;are required to&nbsp;take responsibility for their actions and accept the consequences set by the peer court, students from various high schools in the community.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stetson Law students play a vital role by serving as&nbsp;judge&nbsp;during these proceedings. All students are eligible to&nbsp;participate.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Teen Court sessions are held on Tuesday evenings from 4:45-7:00 p.m. in St. Petersburg at 545 1st Ave N.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>An informational\/training session will be held on Zoom on Friday, Jan. 23 from 12:00-1:00 p.m. See below for the link to the Zoom meeting.
