The deadline to register is Thursday, April 9, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>What is the Job Fair<\/u><\/strong>:&nbsp; Formerly known as SEMJF, SELSC is the Southeastern Law School Consortium Job Fair, a legal interview program bringing together <a href=\"https:\/\/selscon.org\/2025-employers-1\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/selscon.org\/2025-employers-1\">employer<\/a>s from all across the country \u2013 one of the oldest and largest events of its kind. There are several action item dates\/deadlines in advance of the virtual fair. Please see here for the <a href=\"https:\/\/selscon.org\/timeline-for-candidates\">candidate timeline<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Who may participate<\/u><\/strong>: <strong><u>ANY<\/u><\/strong> rising 2L, 3L, or pending graduate. I repeat, pending graduates are eligible!&nbsp; SELSC registration <strong><u>is open to all applicants<\/u><\/strong> \u2013 please note a resume and a Candidate Statement are required for every application. The prompt for your Candidate Statement: Discuss your academic, professional and life experiences, focusing on your ability to persevere, overcome challenges, and contribute to the legal profession. The Deadline to <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/r\/Y821zmryjP\">register<\/a> for the Southeastern Law School Consortium Job Fair (SELSC) is <strong>Thursday, April 9, 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Why<\/u><\/strong>:&nbsp; <a href=\"https:\/\/selscon.org\/2025-employers-1\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/selscon.org\/2025-employers-1\">Look at the list of employers who participated last yea<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/selscon.org\/2024-employers-1\">r<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If you are a 1L or 2L, this is a consolidated opportunity to connect with firms and employers looking at 2027 summer associate positions, or early 2027 hiring. In addition, the exposure to regional and national firms and employers in a single setting is unsurpassed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you are a 3L looking for work, there are employers here looking for you \u2013 take advantage of this. Do not preselect out of registering because the Bar is in close proximity \u2013 apply and adjust your study schedule if you are selected for an interview (We can work jointly with Bar Prep to help you with this)\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Last year there were over 30 employers committed to participating who are looking for recent grads, across industry sectors. Multiple graduates from last year\u2019s class secured employment through this job fair.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you want to look outside of Florida \u2013 these employers are hiring nation-wide.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you want to clerk, there may be judicial interview opportunities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you want big law, big law will be here and hiring nation-wide.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you want advocacy, there are opportunities for you to explore.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>State Attorneys, Public defenders, legal aid and other non-profits \u2013 all here.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Business and transaction positions \u2013 yes!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>But I have a job<\/u><\/strong> (For 1L summer, or 2L summer)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Register and apply anyway. This is a fantastic depth and breadth of employers, ALL in one Location. You can network, explore opportunities, and gather information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>How to Register<\/u><\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here is the easy part. You must register by <strong>Thursday, April 9, 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We provide these details to the SELSC organizing committee, who will follow up with further details on application procedures, including a username and password to access the SELSC specific Symplicity system.
