{"id":80359,"date":"2026-08-14T16:38:12","date_gmt":"2026-08-14T20:38:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www2.stetson.edu\/law\/docket\/?p=80359"},"modified":"2026-08-14T16:38:12","modified_gmt":"2026-08-14T20:38:12","slug":"legal-pro-bono-opportunity-17","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www2.stetson.edu\/law\/docket\/legal-pro-bono-opportunity-17\/","title":{"rendered":"Legal Pro Bono Opportunity"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bay Area Legal Services&#8217; Volunteer Lawyers Program is seeking law student volunteers to participate in the Family Forms Clinic at the George Edgecomb Courthouse in downtown Tampa (800 E Twiggs St. Room 210,&nbsp;Tampa, FL 33602).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Family Forms Clinic is a free program that provides assistance to people representing themselves in family law cases in Hillsborough County. As a student volunteer, you will help pro se family law litigants complete family law forms. No experience or expertise is needed. All hours are eligible for legal pro bono.\u00a0<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The clinic is held on Wednesdays and Fridays from 10am-2pm.\u00a0<em>Once you select the dates you&#8217;d like to attend, you will receive an email confirming your selected dates.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Questions?&nbsp;<\/strong>Contact&nbsp;the Family Forms Clinic Coordinator, Danielle Pifer&nbsp;at:&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:dpifer@bals.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">dpifer@bals.org<\/a><br><strong>Interested in volunteering?&nbsp;<\/strong>Sign-up for one or more clinic dates below.&nbsp;If you would like to volunteer for more than twenty (20) hours during a month, you must complete a background check, so please keep this in mind.
