This event is designed to introduce students to the\u00a0<strong data-end=\"423\" data-start=\"408\">GAL Program<\/strong>, a unique opportunity for law students to advocate on behalf of abused and neglected children.<\/p>\n<p data-end=\"550\" data-start=\"522\">At this session, you will:<\/p>\n<ul data-end=\"939\" data-start=\"551\">\n<li data-end=\"619\" data-start=\"551\">\n<p data-end=\"619\" data-start=\"553\">Learn how to become a certified\u00a0<strong data-end=\"616\" data-start=\"585\">Guardian ad Litem volunteer<\/strong>,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-end=\"702\" data-start=\"620\">\n<p data-end=\"702\" data-start=\"622\">Get information on how to begin earning your\u00a0<strong data-end=\"699\" data-start=\"667\">introductory volunteer hours<\/strong>,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-end=\"803\" data-start=\"703\">\n<p data-end=\"803\" data-start=\"705\">Hear directly from GAL representatives about the program\u2019s impact and training requirements, and<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-end=\"939\" data-start=\"804\">\n<p data-end=\"939\" data-start=\"806\">Discover how volunteering as a GAL can build advocacy skills and provide meaningful courtroom experience while still in law school.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-end=\"1091\" data-start=\"941\">Lunch will be provided.
