The goal of Duty Bound was to create a network of attorneys and law students to provide pro bono legal services to veterans in need through law school clinics.<\/p>\n<p>As a Stetson student, Sprowls received the Edward D. Foreman Most Distinguished Student Award, was a member of both the Moot Court Board and Trial Team, was elected national chairman of the Law Student Division of the American Bar Association, and served with the House of Delegates of the American Bar Association. Martinez was the ABA Law Student Division liaison to the Legal Assistance for Military Personnel committee.<\/p>\n<p>Stetson Law launched its Veterans Law Institute in May 2012, home to the Veterans Advocacy Clinic. Stetson&#8217;s Veterans Advocacy Clinic provides representation to veterans seeking government benefits as well as those appealing decisions denying benefits.
