Editors narrowed the list to 50 and then asked 350 people in legal education, including all law school deans, to rate each nominee based on how much they influenced them in the past year.<\/p>\n<p>The 25 finalists will be included in the January issue of the National Jurist.<\/p>\n<p>In the fall, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www2.americanbar.org\/divisions\/srlawyers\/womentrailblazers\/oralhistory.aspx\">American Bar Association Women Trailblazers Law Project<\/a> selected Moody to be included among women who made history in the legal profession. Moody\u2019s oral history of her extraordinary legal career will be housed at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.loc.gov\/index.html\">Library of Congress<\/a>, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.radcliffe.harvard.edu\/schlesinger-library\">Arthur and Elizabeth Schlesinger Library on the History of Women in America\u00a0at Harvard University<\/a>, and on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www2.americanbar.org\/divisions\/srlawyers\/womentrailblazers\/trailblazer.aspx?TB=Moody\">ABA website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Moody was Stetson Law&#8217;s vice president and dean from 1994-1999, opening the state-of-the art <a href=\"http:\/\/www.law.stetson.edu\/library\/\">Dolly &amp; Homer Hand Law Library<\/a> and laying the foundation for the college\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.law.stetson.edu\/admissions\/jd\/part-time-program.php\">part-time law<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.law.stetson.edu\/international\/home\/\">international programs<\/a>.
