Tampa St., Tampa 33602<\/p>\n<p><strong>WHAT:<br \/>\n<\/strong>The forum will feature a panel of several of the most prominent figures in Florida\u2019s efforts to combat human trafficking crimes, as well as former victims of trafficking. The event is sponsored by <a title=\"The Junior League of Tampa\" href=\"http:\/\/www.jltampa.org\" target=\"_blank\">The Junior League of Tampa<\/a> and hosted by Stetson University College of Law.<\/p>\n<p>Participants will include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Luz Nagle, Stetson University College of Law professor<\/li>\n<li>U.S. District Court and Florida Circuit Court judges<\/li>\n<li>Assistant U.S. Attorney Stacie B. Harris<\/li>\n<li>Assistant Statewide Prosecutor Sasha Lohn-McDermott<\/li>\n<li>Charlotte F. Braziel of the FBI<\/li>\n<li>Special Agent Bill Williger of the Department of Homeland Security<\/li>\n<li>Courtney McCowen of the Office of the Secretary, Florida Department of Juvenile Justice<\/li>\n<li>Connie Rose, survivor and president and founder of Victims 2 Survivors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Human trafficking is a major crime activity in Tampa and in the state of Florida, which ranks third in the nation for the crimes.
