This is the second time that Stetson has won this competition. The first time was in 2009.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_13925\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-13925\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.stetson.edu\/law\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/Moot-Court-winners.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-13925\" alt=\"Moot Court winners coach Larry Miccolis, Brandon Pfluger, Jonathan Hart, Melaina Tryon and Professor Brooke Bowman.\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stetson.edu\/law\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/Moot-Court-winners-300x169.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-13925\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Moot Court winners coach Larry Miccolis, Brandon Pfluger, Jonathan Hart, Melaina Tryon and Professor Brooke Bowman.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Stetson Law alumnus Larry Miccolis co-coached the winning team with Professor of Legal Skills and Moot Court Adviser Brooke Bowman.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are thrilled that our students excelled in this prestigious international competition,\u201d said Professor Bowman. \u201cStetson prides itself in preparing students with the practical skills that they need to practice law, and these competitions allow them to hone and showcase their skills.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Moot Court Competition in Information Technology and Privacy Law was established in 1981. Students from law schools across the country and outside the U.S. compete each year to brief and argue unresolved issues of technology law.
