Stetson\u2019s team of Brooke Batton Charlan, Stanton Fears, Phylicia Pearson and Kyle Ross beat George Mason University in the final round of the national competition.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_17326\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-17326\" style=\"width: 225px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.stetson.edu\/law\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/AAj-Winners.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-17326\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stetson.edu\/law\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/AAj-Winners-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"Stetson's trial team L-R: They are Kyle Ross, Phylicia Pearson, Brooke Batton Charlan and Stanton Fears.\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-17326\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Stetson&#8217;s trial team L-R: Kyle Ross, Phylicia Pearson, Brooke Batton Charlan and Stanton Fears.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The AAJ\u00a0is one of the two largest mock trial competitions in the U.S. More than 200 teams competed around the country for a chance at the championship.
