{"id":17966,"date":"2015-08-05T15:17:35","date_gmt":"2015-08-05T19:17:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.stetson.edu\/law\/news\/?p=17966"},"modified":"2015-08-05T15:58:57","modified_gmt":"2015-08-05T19:58:57","slug":"two-more-honors-stetson-wins-videographer-awards-for-alumni-features","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www2.stetson.edu\/law\/news\/index.php\/2015\/08\/05\/two-more-honors-stetson-wins-videographer-awards-for-alumni-features\/","title":{"rendered":"Two more honors: Stetson wins Videographer Awards for alumni features"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: black;\">Stetson University College of Law in Gulfport, Florida, has won a Videographer Award of Distinction in the educational institution category for its alumni feature series, \u201cDo the Extraordinary: Stetson Law Women Trailblazers.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: black;\">Stetson Law Video Production Manager Stan Arthur and Manager of Media Relations Brandi Palmer interviewed recent female Law graduates who founded their own law firms in St. Petersburg, Florida, to produce the four-part feature series.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: black;\">Stetson also won an Honorable Mention Videographer Award for the feature spotlighting a 2015 <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.stetson.edu\/law\/offices\/registrar\/jd-mph-dual-degree.php\">J.D.\/M.P.H.<\/a> graduate: \u201cP.J. Nowlan: Making Change Happen.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Arthur is an award-winning filmmaker whose latest film, \u201c<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/k4lD5aTtxqk\">At Risk<\/a>,\u201d premiered at the Skyway Film Festival in Bradenton in June.<\/p>\n<p>Videographer recognizes outstanding achievement by talented individuals and companies in the video production field, and judges are industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry. About 14% of entries were Award of Distinction winners.\u00a0Past winners have come from all 50 states and numerous countries.
