The traveling exhibit has been shown in close to 100 cities in Germany, the U.S. and around the world.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_18744\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-18744\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.stetson.edu\/law\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/IMG_3024.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-18744\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stetson.edu\/law\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/IMG_3024-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"Professor Ann Piccard addressed a crowd of more than 30.\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-18744\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Professor Ann Piccard addressed a crowd of more than 30. Piccard, secretary of the Leadership Board for the Florida Holocaust Museum, discussed the exhibit\u00a0on Nov. 5\u00a0on the third floor of Stetson\u2019s law library in Gulfport.\u00a0More than 30 people attended.<\/p>\n<p>Professor Piccard teaches international poverty law; a seminar on law, literature, and film; and research and writing. Professor Piccard joined Stetson&#8217;s faculty in August 1999. She completed an LL.M. degree, with distinction, from the University of London, concentrating in the area of international human rights law.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The exhibit is free and open to the public during regular hours through Nov. 19. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Stetson\u2019s Dolly &amp; Homer Hand Law Library is open to the public Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Sundays from noon to 5 p.m. Visitor parking is available adjacent to the library and in Stetson Law\u2019s main parking lot located at 61st St. S. and 22nd Ave. S. in Gulfport.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are honored to have the opportunity to bring this incredible exhibit to Stetson,\u201d said Stetson Jewish Law Student Association President Patrick Iyampillai. \u201cWe hope that members of the public will have a chance to visit the exhibit as it stops in Tampa Bay during its travel around the world.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_18557\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-18557\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.stetson.edu\/law\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/IMG_2636_BEST.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-18557 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stetson.edu\/law\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/IMG_2636_BEST-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"Stetson Law students tour the exhibit, &quot;Lawyers Without Rights: Jewish Lawyers in Germany under the Third Reich.&quot;\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-18557\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">(L-R): Stetson Law students (background) Andi Kasimati, Patrick Iyampillai and (foreground) Samantha Grizzle tour the exhibit, &#8220;Lawyers Without Rights: Jewish Lawyers in Germany under the Third Reich.&#8221;<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The exhibit was researched and produced by the German Federal Bar based in Berlin, Germany.<\/p>\n<p>It features a series of canvas panels printed with photographs and text chronicling how Jewish lawyers and judges lost their jobs and rights as German citizens during the Nazi dictatorship.
