Fellows with Ms. JD President Raychelle Tasher (bottom left corner in black suit and purple shirt) and Fellowship Coordinator Maleaha Brown.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Third-year student Natalie Yello recently presented a brief segment at the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/ms-jd.org\/annual-conference\/2017-conference\/\">Ms. JD\u2019s Ninth Annual Conference on Women in the Law<\/a>\u00a0in Chicago, Illinois, on March 2-3.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_22840\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-22840\" style=\"width: 279px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.stetson.edu\/law\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/Natalie-at-Ms.-JD-PROPEL-Conference.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-22840 \" src=\"https:\/\/www.stetson.edu\/law\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/Natalie-at-Ms.-JD-PROPEL-Conference-231x300.jpg\" alt=\"Natalie Yello at the Ms. JD PROPEL Conference in Chicago.\" width=\"279\" height=\"362\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-22840\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Natalie Yello at the Ms. JD PROPEL Conference in Chicago.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Yello co-presented with Irene Mo, a third-year law student from Michigan State University, on what it\u2019s like to be a first-generation law student and shared tips with\u00a0other law students.<\/p>\n<p>Kelly Jo MacArthur, vice president and associate general counsel for Amazon, and Lia Moeser, Amazon\u2019s corporate counsel, provided the conference keynote address.<\/p>\n<p>The conference on Promoting Retention, Opportunity, Partnership, Excellence, and Leadership also featured awards for women in the profession which included, among others, Lieutenant General Flora Darpino, the\u00a039th Judge Advocate General of the U.S. Army and the first woman to hold that position its in 242 year history.<\/p>\n<p>Yello is\u00a0associate justice of the Moot Court Board at Stetson, editor-in-chief of the Journal of International Aging, Law &amp; Policy, and a member of the board of governors for the Young Lawyers Division Law Student Division. Last year, Yello became the first Stetson student to be awarded a <a href=\"http:\/\/ms-jd.org\/blog\/article\/2016-ms.-jd-fellows\">fellowship by Ms. JD<\/a>.
