Professor Luz Nagle recently visited\u00a0the Port of Tampa with students in her\u00a0International Business Transactions class to observe delivery of goods firsthand.<\/p>\n

“This was a unique opportunity for our foreign students to see how what we are learning in class is applied to\u00a0industry and commerce,” said Professor Nagle.<\/p>\n

Students visited the port with the professor, saw the forklifts used to move the goods\u00a0that impact\u00a0risks and responsibilities, and toured\u00a0the facilities by\u00a0boat.<\/p>\n

The class discussed matters\u00a0concerning the shipment of goods, including the duties and obligations of sellers and buyers to a contract of sale relating to the delivery of tangible goods sold overseas, as well as the roles and responsibilities of maritime carriers.<\/p>\n
