She holds both a J.D. degree from the University of Dayton School of Law\u00a0and a master\u2019s degree in library and information science\u00a0from the University of South Florida. Chase also attended the Leadership Institute for Academic Librarians at the Harvard University Graduate School of Education.<\/p>\n<p>The Emerging Leader Award recognizes newer members who have already made significant contributions to the AALL and\/or to the profession and have demonstrated the potential for leadership and continuing service.\u00a0 Chase has made her mark on the field of law librarianship during her short time in the profession, presenting at national and international conferences and publishing book chapters and articles in publications related to both law librarianship and librarianship, generally.\u00a0 In addition, Chase is the editor of the forthcoming book <em>Millennial Leadership in Libraries<\/em>, which will be published by the William S. Hein company later this year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am extremely honored and humbled to be one of this year\u2019s recipients of the AALL Emerging Leader Award.
