Furlow joined Stetson in 2002 as an adjunct professor. Before joining the law school, he was a partner with Smith, Katzenstein &amp; Furlow in Wilmington, Del., where he litigated stockholder class and derivative actions. An expert in the field of takeovers, Furlow co-authored a guide to Delaware takeover law.<\/p>\n<p>Furlow replaces professor Stephanie Vaughan at the helm of the Tampa Law Center. Vaughan has been named associate director of international programs.
