Stetson University College of Law students traveled to Oxford, England, for the Comparative Advocacy Program study abroad program.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Stetson University College of Law wrapped up its fifth Comparative Advocacy\nProgram<\/a> in Oxford, England, from July 22 through Aug. 2, 2019. This year\u2019s\nstudy abroad trip was a hit with students and faculty alike for its mix of\ndemanding legal training with Oxford\u2019s intellectual and fascinating history. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The program is an intensive experience where students are\nexposed to the fundamental tenets of rhetoric, psychology, and storytelling\nwhile learning about a new culture. Local techniques and practices form an\nintegral part of the course, and guest speakers from England, Scotland, and\nIreland help expand students\u2019 understanding of the differences and similarities\nbetween our legal system and Great Britain\u2019s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
