It wasn\u2019t just <a href=\"https:\/\/www2.stetson.edu\/law\/news\/index.php\/2022\/03\/31\/u-s-news-ranks-stetson-law-near-top-in-key-areas-of-study\/\">ranking near the top in key <em>U.S. News &amp; World Report<\/em> areas<\/a>, having <a href=\"https:\/\/www2.stetson.edu\/law\/news\/index.php\/2022\/04\/12\/stetson-law-fla-bar-exam-pass-rates-among-top-in-state\/\">one of Florida\u2019s highest bar passage rates<\/a>, or earning the college\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www2.stetson.edu\/law\/news\/index.php\/2022\/09\/21\/stetson-law-wins-third-insight-into-diversity-heed-award-in-a-row\/\">third <em>INSIGHT Into Diversity<\/em> Magazine HEED Award in a row<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. <strong>Prolific Writing &amp; Winning Performances at National Competitions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once again, Stetson Law students dominated the national moot court scene. From <a href=\"https:\/\/www2.stetson.edu\/law\/news\/index.php\/2022\/02\/21\/dispute-resolution-board-sweeps-moot-event-ahead-of-major-competitions\/\">yet another sweep<\/a> of the Florida Bar Association International Law Section\u2019s Richard DeWitt Memorial Vis Pre-Moot in Miami to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www2.stetson.edu\/law\/news\/index.php\/2022\/06\/27\/moot-team-achieves-a-double-double-at-orseck\/\">\u201cdouble-double\u201d<\/a> at the Robert Orseck Memorial Moot Court Competition at the Florida Bar\u2019s Annual conference in Orlando, Stetson Law\u2019s amazing competitors helped bring the college\u2019s national championship tally to a whopping 86. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stetson.edu\/law\/about\/home\/national-recognition.php\">See more competition stats<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www2.stetson.edu\/law\/news\/index.php\/2022\/07\/13\/eye-opening-civil-rights-travel-experience-returns-to-stetson-law\/\">valedictorian was Jessica Zellitt<\/a>, a passionate advocate for improving healthcare policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">8. <strong>Advocacy Institute Construction Began<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In late May, Stetson University officials heralded the start of a construction project that will bolster Stetson Law\u2019s legacy as a destination for advocacy.
