It\u2019s not always easy, though, and finding time to manage stress in a heathy way can be tough.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That\u2019s why Stetson Law is thrilled to announce <a href=\"https:\/\/app.uwill.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">a new program<\/a> that invites students to seek counseling and access self-care tools at times most convenient for them \u2013 and it\u2019s free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These resources will be offered through Uwill, the leading student mental health and wellness solution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With <a href=\"https:\/\/app.uwill.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Uwill<\/a>, students can receive free, immediate access to teletherapy with a therapist of your choice \u2013 all from their smartphone or other device.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here\u2019s how it works:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Students may choose a therapist based on their preferences, including issue, gender, language, ethnicity&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>They can choose a time that fits their schedule with day, night and weekend availability&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There are multiple methods to choose from: video, phone, chat, or message&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Access is quick and easy, so students can seek immediate, confidential counseling whether it\u2019s between classes or in the middle of a marathon late-night exam study session. Students are invited to sign up and create a private profile now so assistance is available when they need it most.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The program also features free access to guided meditation sessions, yoga classes that can be streamed at any time, and other self-care practices to help users manage stress and cultivate mindfulness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As always, in-person mental health counseling services <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stetson.edu\/law\/students\/counseling-and-stress-management.php\">are available on the Gulfport campus via the Student Affairs department<\/a> during business hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Campus leaders hope the program will prove a critical student-wellness resource that caters to the needs of students accustomed to life in the digital space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAs a community, Stetson Law recognizes that wellness is paramount \u2013 not just for managing the stresses of life as a law student, but for building resilience in all areas of life,\u201d said Stetson Law Interim Dean <strong>Theresa J. Pulley Radwan<\/strong>. \u201cIt\u2019s also important that we invite students to seek mental health and self-care practices that are tailored to their individual needs.
