The groundbreaking hands-on training event for practitioners of all experience levels will lead participants through a realistic hypothetical from investigation to trial to sentencing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Prosecutors and defense lawyers alike will gain valuable knowledge and skills from well-versed professionals throughout this day-long program: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Learn key white collar advocacy and trial skills from seasoned trial attorneys<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Delve into a realistic hypothetical white collar case with leading practitioners<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Discuss trends in white collar law with academics and defense counsel<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This event is well suited for new attorneys interested in learning about white collar defense and experienced litigators interested in expanding their practice to include such cases. Participants will engage in opening statements and cross examination with feedback from experienced counsel and hear from panels exploring issues such as client retention, investigations, cross examination, ethics, and sentencing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The program culminates with a dinner at which the White Collar Defense Award will be presented to a leading advocate or advocates.
