Vis (East) International Commercial Arbitration Moot in Hong Kong.<\/p>\n<p>The Stetson Law team of Cristina Cambo, Katelyn Desrosiers, Jake Hanson and Christina Unkel won first place for the best claimant&#8217;s memorandum.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Our team earned high awards in every award category, distinguishing us from any other university in the competition,&#8221; said team coach Professor Joseph Morrissey.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_3642\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-3642\" style=\"width: 250px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a title=\"Hi-res version\" href=\"http:\/\/farm3.static.flickr.com\/2444\/5734834218_d1aca46c25_o.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-3642\" style=\"margin: 10px 0px 10px 10px;\" title=\"Hong Kong Competition Award Winners\" src=\"http:\/\/www.law.stetson.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/Hong-Kong-Writing-Award-Lo-Res1.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"Hong Kong Competition Award Winners\" width=\"250\" height=\"188\" align=\"right\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-3642\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">(L-R): Jake Hanson, Cristina Cambo, Katelyn Desrosiers and Christina Unkel. The team received an honorable mention for the respondent&#8217;s memorandum.<\/p>\n<p>Students from 87 universities from around the globe, including Indonesia, India, China, Japan, Mexico, Germany and the U.S. competed this year in Hong Kong.<\/p>\n<p>A second Stetson Vis team will be competing in Vienna April 16-17 at the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot. Stetson Law professors Marco Jimenez, Stephanie Vaughan and Joseph Morrissey coached both Vis teams.
