Bonells completed an externship with Ramsar this summer in <strong>Switzerland<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"center\">Stetson Law Interim Dean Royal Gardner, past chair of the U.S. Ramsar Committee and author of the book, <em>Lawyers, Swamps and Money: U.S. Wetland Law, Policy, and Politics<\/em>, is moderating the Ramsar session in Jamaica.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"center\"><strong>Romania<\/strong> \u2013 International Environmental Law and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.law.stetson.edu\/international\/biodiversity\/biodiversity-environmental-law-research.php\"><em>Journal of International Wildlife Law and Policy<\/em><\/a><em> <\/em>students at Stetson did case studies that they presented to Ramsar, and Dean Gardner and Stetson Law students helped draft a resolution to be considered at the next <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ramsar.org\/cda\/en\/ramsar-documents-cops-cop11\/main\/ramsar\/1-31-58-500_4000_0__\">Ramsar meeting in Romania in July<\/a>.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_7011\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-7011\" style=\"width: 201px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.law.stetson.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/IMG_1823_SM.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-7011\" title=\"Interim Dean Royal Gardner meets with students working on the Journal of International Wildlife Law and Policy at Stetson.\" src=\"http:\/\/www.law.stetson.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/IMG_1823_SM-201x300.jpg\" alt=\"Interim Dean Royal Gardner meets with students working on the Journal of International Wildlife Law and Policy at Stetson.\" width=\"201\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-7011\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Interim Dean Royal Gardner meets with students working on the Journal of International Wildlife Law and Policy at Stetson.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>India<\/strong> \u2013 The India regional rounds of Stetson Law\u2019s International Environmental Moot Court Competition were conducted this past weekend. The National Law University, Jodhpur, won the North India regional round and the National Law School of India University, Bangalore, won the South India regional round of competition. This is the 16th year Stetson has held this competition. Countries participating in the IEMCC this year include Africa, Australia, China, India, Ireland, Korea, Latin America, Malaysia, Nepal, Philippines, United States, Ukraine and Vietnam.<\/p>\n<p>Competitions around the world\u00a0will determine which four teams of law students will compete at the International Finals hosted at Stetson Law in Tampa Bay, Fla., at the end of March.
