Update: Library materials by mail

Announcements

During the Pandemic lockdown and throughout the past year, the library shipped library materials to any Stetson student, faculty or staff member who requested the service. With more Stetson personnel returning to campus this summer the library will return to our pre-pandemic materials by mail policy. Materials will be shipped by request to students taking online classes and to faculty who are teaching online classes. Students and faculty who live locally may also visit the library building to borrow and return materials.

 Library users may place items on hold using OneSearch and library personnel will gather items to be picked up at the front desk. Today’s library hours are posted on the library homepage and upcoming hours are listed here.

Jan.13, Wednesday – Regular library hours begin

Monday-Thursday:  9 am – 8 pm
Friday:  9 am – 6 pm
Saturday:  11 am – 6 pm
Sunday:  11 am – 8 pm

Building capacity is limited to 50.

Effective Jan. 11 to Jan. 29: You must have your green wristband or show your Gateway Testing email to enter the building.

Monday-Friday:  9 am – 5 pm
Saturday – Sunday:  CLOSED

Dec. 14, Monday to Jan. 12, Tuesday:  CLOSED

Revised building hours starting Monday, Aug. 24

Announcements

Due to COVID-19 accommodation and adjustment staffing shortages, the library building hours will be reduced starting Monday, August 24, 2020:

Monday-Thursday: 9:00 am – 8:00 pm
Friday: 9:00 am – 6:00 pm
Saturday: 11:00 am – 6:00 pm
Sunday: 11:00 am – 8:00 pm

The 24/7 computer lab with printer on the north side, ground floor level of the library is available to students using the card-swipe entrance from the Nemec Courtyard.

Our Ask-a-Librarian service hours are not affected by this change and librarians are available to assist you remotely: https://www2.stetson.edu/library/services/ask-a-librarian/

In response to the Governor’s Stay-at-Home Executive Order, the duPont-Ball Library has
adjusted our services to include the following:

    Please note: As other libraries across the country curtail services, it is becoming increasingly difficult to borrow physical materials (e.g., books and scores).
