This week I worked on accessing delenn with my computer. I did not have a lot of time to work this week, but I still managed to access delenn and setup my new computer. I also had to learn how to use apple’s terminal. I spent the little time I had left studying the code “Bilateral Multi-Perspective Matching for Natural Language Sentences” by Zhiguo Wang, Wael Hamza, and Radu Florian. The program takes two sentences as input, and predicts a label for the two input sentences. It is written using Python 2.7 and TensorFlow 0.12. I will soon need to train the program using Python.
Next week I will be working on part of the mathematics we need for this project. I am going to read about PageRank and see if it is a viable option for this research project.
