East Aquorthies Recumbent Circle, Aberdeenshire, Scotland
This view of the recumbent and its flankers is from outside the circle, facing northeast. The modern drystone wall around the circle is also visible. Originally the site would have been banked, with perhaps a burial cairn in the center. The flankers each are 2.5 meters high and are made of granite, as is the 3.8 meter long recumbent.
