They rise in height from the northeast to the recumbent. The recumbent stone is oriented to 200 degrees southwest, the right-flanking stone is oriented 215 degrees southwest, while the left-flanking stone is oriented due south, similar to\u00a0the recumbent and flankers at Cothiemuir. Possibly oriented to sunset on Winter Solstice as well as the southernmost setting of the moon. The site has been much restored and is one of the more famous of the Inverurie circles.
