COURT
HEARING IN PERM
AGAINST CHURCH BECAUSE OF VIDEO SHOWN TO CHILDREN ON EASTER
On 28
August at 4:00
p.m. in Penza, a court hearing was held against the New Covenant
Church (Eduard
Grabovenko, pastor) because of a video recording shown on
Easter, the Christian
megaportal invictory.com reports.
In one
of the
lessons, the teacher, using a puppet, described for the children
the sufferings
of Jesus Christ, using a nail and a crown of thorns.
As
reported on a Telegram
channel "Christian speaks," the church denied all guilt,
explaining
the situation as the incompetence of the teacher.
TBN
president
Viktoria Nikitina-Shin wrote on her Facebook account: "Dear
friends! Let's
support one another in prayer. The whole church of God. Our
prayers today are
raised for the New Covenant Church and for Bishop E.A.
Grabovenko. 'Pray with
all prayer and supplication always in the spirit, and strive for
this very
thing with all constancy and prayer for all saints.' May the
Lord reveal his
love and eternal mercy."
Update:
The court
closed the case against the New Covenant Church in Perm, whose
respondent was
Bishop Eduard Grabovenko. There are still no details about what
is the basis
for closing the judicial process. (tr. by PDS, posted 29 August
