Russian court releases Jehovah's Witnesses in Moscow

FOUR BELIEVERS PLACED UNDER HOUSE ARREST IN MOSCOW

Jehovah's Witnesses in Russia, 27 November 2020

 

The Presnya district court of Moscow ordered the release from custody of another three believers: Vitaly Komarov, Ivan Chaikovsky, and Yury Chernyshev. A measure of restriction was chosen for all of them in the form of house arrest. As of 5:00 p.m., the further whereabouts of Vardan Zakarian, who had been hospitalized with fresh abrasions on his face, were unknown.

 

Meanwhile, near the home of Ivan Chaikovsky in Moscow, his son was arrested. He had come from Krasnodar in order to support his parents. According to word of eyewitnesses, special forces are conducting external surveillance near the building where the Chaikovsky's live. (tr. by PDS, posted 27 November 2020)
