IN A MONTH OF WAR 60 UKRAINIAN CHURCHES AND RELIGIOUS FACILITIES ALREADY DESTROYED
"In a month of war, the Russian army has destroyed more than 60 Ukrainian church buildings and religious structures. Every day, Russians are destroying two religious facilities. Church buildings have been destroyed in at least 8 oblasts of Ukraine," the Facebook page of the Armed Forces of Ukraine says.
Since 24 February more than 60 facilities with religious significance have already been damaged (not counting attached buildings) in at least eight oblasts of Ukraine: Kiev, Donetsk, Zhitomir, Zaporozhe, Luhansk, Sumy, Kharkov, and Chernigov. The overwhelming majority of them are Orthodox churches. Destroyed buildings included mosques, synagogues, protestant churches, religious educational institutions, and important administrative buildings of religious organizations.

Among the destroyed buildings are the Prayer House of Christians of Evangelical Faith in Boiarok, the Baptist seminary and Eurasian Mission in Irpen, the Ukrainian Evangelical Theological Seminary in Pushche-Vodits, and New Life Church of Evangelical Christians Baptists in Izium, and churches in Mariupol.
