Vo Svete, 11 April 2022

The festival "HOPE," with the participation of the famous evangelist Franklin Graham, which was supposed to be held in July of this year in St. Petersburg, has been postponed because of "closed doors," InVictory reports.

An evangelization festival with the participation of the famous preacher Franklin Graham, which was supposed to be held in the Ice Palace of St. Petersburg on 9-10 July, has been postponed because "the door was closed."

This was reported by the director of the festival, Vasily Gerasimchuk, in an official letter of 6 April.

"At the present time we have been faced with circumstances that have created serious obstacles for preparing and conducting the festival. Therefore we report to you that a decision regarding its postponement has been made," the letter says.

"Brother Franklin will be ready to preach in Russia and will come to St. Petersburg for participating in the 'HOPE' festival as soon as the door for this is opened again."

The office of the "HOPE" festival in St. Petersburg, which has been preparing this evangelization project for seven months, has suspended its work. (tr. by PDS, posted 13 April 2022)
