The Stetson University School of Business Administration\u2019s Sport Business students recently had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of motorsports at the renowned \u201cWorld Center of Racing\u201d in Daytona Beach. Led by NASCAR President Steve Phelps, students were treated to an unforgettable experience, gaining firsthand insights into the inner workings of NASCAR and its ambitious vision for the future.<\/p>\n

A special thank you\u00a0 to Steve Phelps for generously sharing his time and expertise and providing invaluable perspectives on NASCAR\u2019s strategies for brand development both on and off the racetrack. Additionally, we extend our gratitude to Gary Crotty, NASCAR\u2019s Special Counsel and Stetson\u2019s Adjunct Professor of Management, and the entire NASCAR team for facilitating this remarkable opportunity for our students.<\/span><\/p>\n

Adding to the excitement of the day, students had the honor of meeting Lesa France Kennedy, Executive Vice Chair of NASCAR, which further enhanced and enriched their experience and understanding of the sport industry.<\/span><\/p>\n

Overall, it was a day filled with learning, inspiration, and excitement.
