Stetson University’s Multicultural Student Council will present “Strange Like Me,” an interactive program on racism, sexism and homophobia especially for college students, on Thursday, April 12, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. in the Rinker Field House of the Hollis Center, 602 N. Bert Fish Drive, DeLand. The event is free and open to the public.

Strange Like Me is a 90-minute program that gets college students talking about diversity. It begins with a monologue that lays bare the ugliness of hate, setting the stage for a lively discussion of diversity. The program follows students as they attempt to navigate the sometimes difficult terrain of multicultural campus relationships. During talkbacks, students can confront the characters and voice their own opinions on issues of racism, sexism, and homophobia.
