The Daytona Times featured Stetson and Stetson Law in the May 10 post, “More than 1,000 to graduate at Stetson ceremonies.” The story quoted Stetson President Christopher F. Roellke, PhD. “We celebrate the extraordinary achievements of our Class of 2024,” Roellke said. “The value of a Stetson education will remain with these graduates throughout their professional careers, and we look forward to seeing their paths to forging successful, fulfilling lives.”

• Central Florida News 13 featured Rajni Shankar-Brown, PhD, professor and Jessie Ball duPont Endowed Chair of Social Justice Education, in the May 14 broadcast segment, “Art as Activism.” The Daytona Times featured Stetson’s annual Ending Poverty and Homelessness Conference in the May 10 story, “Advocates: Poverty and homelessness need a trauma-sensitive approach.” The story included an interview with Shankar-Brown.

• The Jacksonville Journal-Courier featured Haleigh Ray, PhD, assistant professor of Biology, in the May 11 story, “Orchid conservation group with Illinois College flavor invited back to international flower show.”

• The Palm Beach Daily News profiled the late John Rinker, a Stetson alumnus and university benefactor, in the May 8 story, “In Memoriam: Remembering the Palm Beachers who left us in 2023-2024 season.”
