Stetson Hall of Famer and Seattle Mariner’s pitcher Logan Gilbert was named to the 2024 American League All-Star team. The announcement was shared by the Major League Baseball office on Sunday, July 7.

This is the first time Gilbert was selected to participate in the MLB All-Star Game. He joins fellow Hatters Jacob DeGrom and Corey Kluber as All-Stars. Also, this is the first time a Hatter was named an All-Star since 2021, when DeGrom represented the New York Mets. Gilbert’s selection makes the eighth time a Hatter has been chosen to participate in the game.

The 2024 MLB All-Star Game will be held on Tuesday, July 16, at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.
