GivingTuesday Rings In ’12 Days of Stetson’

GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good, and it has become a global movement that inspires millions of people to give, collaborate and celebrate generosity.
Each year, the GivingTuesday movement gives more opportunities to support a cause that is close to your heart.
This year at Stetson, GivingTuesday kicks off our 12 Days of Stetson event with free coffee and bagels for local alumni, faculty and staff at the Meadows Alumni House. If you’re in the area, please join the staff from the Office of Alumni Engagement and Annual Giving from 9-11 a.m., and learn more about ways to give back and be engaged with Stetson.
Stetson alumna, Julie Kaplan ‘93, owner of JulieKaplanArt will also be present selling Stetson-themed-ornaments and paintings. So, RSVP today and come get some Christmas shopping done early!
Then, from Dec. 3 – 14, follow along on the Stetson University Alumni Instagram and Facebook pages as we highlight the impact and importance of the Stetson Fund and thank those who invest their time, talent, and treasure in our campus and community. When you give through the Stetson Fund, you make an immediate impact on our most pressing and urgent needs — including scholarships, technology upgrades, campus operations, engaged learning initiatives, and more.
During these 12 days, make a one-time gift of $50 or more to the Stetson Fund and receive a pair of one-of-a-kind Stetson socks as a token of our appreciation! (While supplies last.) Only 250 pairs of one-of-a-kind Stetson socks are available. You can contribute securely online at stetson.edu/give.
