Stetson University undertook an innovative approach last fall to reexamine the institution’s core values 10 years after they were adopted.

Values Day 2024 was dedicated to campuswide discussions and deliberative polling to determine if Stetson’s core values — personal growth, intellectual development and global citizenship – still resonated with the Stetson community today.

That effort has now received national attention in a new project, “Unscripted Campus Conversations,” launched April 1 by College Presidents for Civic Preparedness.

An interactive map takes visitors to an article about Stetson’s Values Day 2024, entitled “Campus Culture of Deliberation.”
