Stetson to Celebrate Ribbon-Cutting of Lynn Hall on Jan. 15
Stetson University will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its newest residence hall on Thursday, Jan. 15, and provide tours of the four-story facility offering many amenities for students in the heart of campus.
The 305-bed Lynn Hall features a vibrant mix of individual, double-occupancy and suite-style rooms for students. The new housing is centrally located on campus next to the fitness center, pool and student union with four dining options.
Modern amenities include kitchens, laundry rooms, student lounges and study rooms on each floor, as well as a great room and seminar room on the first floor. Outside, students can enjoy courtyard seating, a fire pit and amphitheater.

Students began moving in Thursday, Jan. 8, as they prepare for the start of spring classes on Monday.
“Lynn Hall represents our commitment to provide an unmatched student experience,” said Stetson President Christopher Roellke, PhD. “The new residence hall was designed with many community spaces where students can meet, study and form lifelong friendships because we know this fosters student success.”
The dedication and ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place Thursday, Jan. 15. Speakers include President Roellke, Board of Trustees Chair Steven Alexander and Trustee Christine E. Lynn, whose generous support helped make the new hall possible.
The ceremony begins at 1 p.m., followed by an open house and tours of the new residence hall from 1:30–3 p.m. Parking will be available behind Flagler Hall and Allen Hall off West Minnesota Avenue, just west of Woodland Boulevard. Please RSVP at stetson.edu/alumni
