Stetson Again Named National College of Distinction for 2026-2027

For the fourth year in a row, Stetson University was recently named a National College of Distinction for 2026-2027 and earned eight additional awards, including for outstanding Business programs and career development.

Colleges of Distinction evaluates schools each year based on key areas, such as engaged students, great teaching, vibrant community and successful outcomes. 

Based on in-depth research and interviews with each institution, Stetson was selected again as one of the best colleges in America for the 2026-2027 academic year. The School of Business Administration and the Department of Education also were recognized for academic excellence.

To ensure graduates are career ready, Stetson actively bridges the gap between academic preparation and professional life by weaving career development into the student experience from day one, the college guide said. This includes everything from training on resume writing and interview preparation to connecting students with an alumni network for mentoring and internships.

In addition, the college guide placed Stetson among top institutions for support services for military-affiliated students and international students, as well as for its commitment to equity and inclusion.
