Explosives found in Ukrainian synagogue

CENTRAL SYNAGOGUE IN KIEV MINED

The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MVD) has verified reports about the presence of explosives in the premises of the Brodsky Central Synagogue on Esplanade Street in Kiev, Ukrainskie Novosti reports.

 

A representative of the directorate of MVD in Kiev reported: "Yes, there was a package of explosive there. Now the explosive technology service is going there."

 

In addition, police officers have blocked automobile traffic along Rognidin Street in connection with the investigation. (tr. by PDS, posted 4 March 2015)
