CHURCH LEADS IN RATINGS OF UKRAINIANS' TRUST
At the present time, among the institutions of the government and the society, the church enjoys the greatest trust of citizens (62% trust, 24% do not trust), the army (57% trust, 34% do not trust), and public and volunteer organizations (57% trust, 34% do not trust).
The data of the survey conducted by the Research and Branding Group were published on the company's website.
More residents of the country do not trust (58%) than trust (32%) the news media. The overwhelming majority of potential voters do not trust political parties at the present time (81% do not trust, 8% trust).
The research was conducted in the period from 6 to 16 March 2015 (with the exception of the autonomous republic of Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk provinces, and the city of Sevastopol). Respondents were selected by quota sampling, representing the adult population of Ukraine by region of residence (province), sex, and age. In all, 1501 respondents were surveyed.
