NOVOSIBIRSK: SKR ACCUSES PASTOR OF "EXODUS" CHURCH OF KIDNAPPING DRUG ADDICTS AND ALCOHOLICS AND GIVING BRIBES
The Investigative Committee of Russia [Sledstvennyi Komitet Rossii—SKR] suspects Pastor Aleksei Pronkin of the "Exodus" church of kidnapping drug addicts and alcoholics (with the help of a rehabilitation center), as well as of giving bribes, NGnews.org reported on 15 July.
The pastor himself said: "This is a provocation on the part of the power structures, aimed at discrediting the good name of the 'Exodus' church and its ministers. We have written a statement for the prosecutor's office and the investigative committee. Pray for us, that we will not suffer damage from Satan." At the present time, the pastor is at liberty and formal charges have not been lodged against him.
The religious organization "Exodus Church" is represented in many regions of Russia and numbers more than 40 parishes. In Novosibirsk it has more than 10 divisions
Aleksei Pronkin is the founder and senior pastor of the protestant "Exodus" church of the city of Novosibirsk and it is a member of the world movement "New Generation."
