POROSHENKO: RUSSIAN OCCUPIERS IN DONBASS CLOSE BAPTIST CHURCHES AND KILL PRIESTS
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko described in the Netherlands religious persecutions in occupied territories of the Donbass. He said this during a meeting with Dutch students, a UNN correspondent transmits.
"Russian occupiers, with Russian passports, are closing Baptist churches in Donetsk and then the beat up the priest and killed him. Also during services four persons were killed in a church in Slaviansk," P. Poroshenko gave examples of religious persecutions in occupied territories.
The president added that in the occupied Donbass there also are cases of intolerance and antisemitism that are not isolated. (tr. by PDS, posted 30 November 2015)
