"SOVA" BECOMES FOREIGN AGENT

The SOVA center for monitoring problems of xenophobia has been entered into the register of noncommercial organizations that are acting as a foreign agent, the Russian Ministry of Justice reports.
The ministry notes that the fact of the correspondence of indicators of a "foreign agent" noncommercial organization was established in the course of an unscheduled documentary verification conducted by the chief directorate of the Ministry of Justice for Moscow.
The SOVA center is engaged in study of problems
of
nationalism and xenophobia, the relations of religion and society,
and

On 30 December 2016, as a result of an inspection, the SOVA Center for News and Analysis was entered into the register of noncommercial organizations that perform the function of a foreign agent, published on the official website of the Ministry of Justice.
