LARGE BIBLICAL CONGRESS OF JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES TO BE HELD IN EARLY JULY IN MINSK
From 7 to 9 July, in the "Tractor" stadium in Minsk, a regional congress of the international movement of Jehovah's Witnesses will be held. It will assemble believers from Belarus and Russia. Organizers estimate that over 7,000 guests will come to it.
For congress delegates, a program has been prepared from biblical lectures, interviews with ministers from various countries, videos about various life situations, audio tapes with artistic readings from the Bible, and a three-part feature film on stories of biblical events.
Jehovah's Witnesses conduct such congresses annually in a majority of countries of the world. The theme of the event for this year is "Do not give up." The biblical program will last several hours and will be interrupted by a lunch break at which it will be possible to eat and chat. All three days, the congress begins at 9:20 a.m. Admission is free.
This is not the first time that the Minsk "Tractor" stadium is receiving guests. Similar events were conducted here from 2011 to 2015. This year the believers of the Minsk congregations by their own efforts and without charge conducted repairs on the stadium. (tr. by PDS, posted 30 June 2017)

KREMENCHUG NEXT WEEK

A congress of Jehovah's Witnesses will be held in Kremenchug [in central Ukraine]. As the press service of the organization reports, they have already begun distributing invitations among citizens of Kremenchug and also residents of villages of Kremenchug district, Gorishnye Plavny, Svetlovodsk, and Vlasovka.
Whereas previously they assembled in the "Kredmasha" stadium, this time the meetings will be held in the "Kremen-Arena" stadium in the City Garden. (tr. by PDS, posted 30 June 2017)
ANNUAL CONGRESS OF JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES OPENS IN KRAMATORSK

Today, 23 June, unusual activity reigns in the vicinity of the Kramatorsk sports complex "Bliuming" [in eastern Ukraine]. Here, in the stadium, the annual congress of Jehovah's Witnesses opened.
The event, for which believers from the most diverse cities of Donetsk province have come to Kramatorsk, has been conducted in Kramatorsk for several years. The only exception was the war summer of 2014. The scale of the event may be judged by the fact that practically all seats in stands of the stadium are filled, and the whole vicinity is filled by vehicles of the city's guests, including those arriving by bus. In all the stores adjoining the stadium there are enormous lines for cold beverages and ice cream.
According to information of the press service of the congress, today more than 3,700 persons arrived in Kramatorsk; however on the weekend a yet greater influx of people is expected.
The motto of the congress that opened in Kramatorsk is: "Do not give up!" (tr. by PDS, posted 30 June 2017)
