A
criminal case
was opened with respect to a resident of Krasnodar who recruited
workers and
visitors of one of the libraries of the city into the ranks of
an extremist
organization, the press service of the Investigation Directorate
of the
Investigative Committee of Russia for Krasnodar territory
reported on Thursday.
In
January 2017,
a 66-year-old resident of Krasnodar, who identified herself as a
member of the
public association "Ancestral Religious Dominion of Rus," spoke
at
one of the libraries before her fellow workers and students of a
college.
According to information of the investigation, the goal of the
speech was
recruiting new members.
A
criminal case
on the basis of part 2 of article 282.2 of the Criminal Code of
the RF
(participation in the activity of an extremist organization)
with respect to
the retiree.
As reported, the activity of the organization "Ancestral Religious Dominion of Rus" was found to be extremist and banned on the territory of the RF by decision of the Moscow oblast court in April 2011. (tr. by PDS, posted 22 February 2018)
