We recall that in Ukraine an orgy of sectarianism rules, which is supported by the state authorities. In late January, President Poroshenko called the sectarian Filaret "a model for imitation." While, in December, Filaret declared that the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Kiev patriarchate never will return to the Moscow patriarchate.
Earlier, in one of his sermons, Filaret declared that the Donbass must pay for its guilt with blood and in the spring he urged Ukrainian citizens to fast for victory over Russia.
In the spring of last year, the secretary of the Service of National Security and Defense, Turchinov, preached a sermon in the "Transfiguration" sectarian Baptist church. A video of his "pastoral" address was published on the "Intellectual Christianity" portal.
