ANNOUNCEMENT: SENTENCE OF BELIEVER IN OREL WILL BE MADE PUBLIC ON 6 FEBRUARY
Jehovah's Witnesses in Russia, 30 January 2019
On 30 January 2019, in Orel, the debates of the parties in the case of Jehovah's Witness Dennis Christensen were completed. Judge Aleksei Rudnev announced that the verdict will be made public in court on 6 February 2019 at 11:00.
The defense asked that the believer be completely acquitted, while the prosecution demanded sending him to a penal colony for six and a half years. (tr. by PDS, posted 30 January 2019)
