JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES REPORT ARREST OF SEVEN DEVOTEES IN
VOLGOGRAD OBLAST

Seven persons were arrested in Volgograd oblast on
suspicion of
involvement in the activity of the religious organization of
Jehovah's
Witnesses, which is forbidden on the territory of the RF.
"On 16 May 2019, in Volgograd, at least seven believers
were
detained by personnel of the FSB and police, several at their
place of
work," the report says.
According to information of the organization, all
detainees were taken
to the building of the Investigative Committee of Russia (SKR).
"Personnel
of law enforcement agencies at the same time did not present any
documents or
court warrants. Searches were conducted earlier in their
apartments," the
authors maintain.
The detainees were placed in a temporary holding cell
for 48 hours, the
