PESKOV STILL HAS NO INFORMATION ABOUT POSSIBILITY OF INVITING POPE TO RUSSIA

The press secretary of the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov, promised to find out whether the head of state, Vladimir Putin, is planning to invite the Roman pope to Russia during his upcoming visit to the Vatican.
To the question whether an invitation to the Russian Federation is planned for Pope Francis during Putin's upcoming visit to the Vatican, Peskov said: "As before, I am not prepared to answer that question. I still have not gotten to the plans. I will find out by tomorrow." (tr. by PDS, posted 1 July 2019)
