"WORD OF LIFE" IN DOLGOPRUDNYI APPEALS MAGISTRATE JUDGE'S DECISION
On 11 July in the city of Dolgoprudnyi, a judicial session was held regarding the "Word of Life" Church of Christians of Evangelical Faith (KhVE), whose pastor is Andrei Mitskevich.
After conducting an inspection, the prosecutor's office of the city presented demands to the religious organization because of violations of the law on missionary activity. The first consisted of the incorrect placement of a tablet with the full name of the religious organization in the places designed for this, although actually there was a tablet in the place designated for this. And the second consisted of the storage in the premises of the church of books that did not contain publisher's identity markings.
In the near future, the decision of the magistrate judge regarding the tablet will be appealed in city court and the prosecutor's presentation will be protested in a court of the city of Dolgoprudnyi. (tr. by PDS, posted 17 July 2019)
