OFFICIAL
WEBSITE OF
RUSSIAN SINGER WHO INVITED POPE TO MOSCOW HACKED
The
official website
of Russian opera singer Svetlana Kasian, who is currently
performing in Italy,
was hacked by unidentified vandals on 27 August. As the singer's
manager told
the portal Credo.Press, the criminals stole security codes and
posted
pornographic materials on the site.
The
very next day,
Svetlana Kasian's website was opened at a new address:
damasvetlanakasyan.com.
This address displays the status of the beloved singer of Roman
Pope Francis, who elevated
Svetlana Kasian in
February of this year to the rank of Lady of the Order of St.
Sylvester.
Observers
connect
the incident of hacking the website with the results of
Kasian's
meeting with Pope Francis on 24 July in the Vatican, when the
pontiff
graciously accepted Svetlana's invitation to visit her
apartment on Taganka in
Moscow and presented her genuine fragments of the shroud of
Turin. At the
present time, Moscow authorities have begun a hasty
unscheduled repair of the façade
of the building in which the singer lives, as our portal has
reported. (tr. by
